Hello Readers!

This week was my last full week in Scotland.

The first few days of the week I spent finishing up all my school work for the semester which was nice until I realized that no one else  is done with their work so I have nothing really do to now.

On Wednesday afternoon Sarah Kaye and I went to Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh which is where the Queen stays when she comes to visit Scotland.

• The palace was very pretty and the gardens were gorgeous!

Later that day I hung out with Amanda and we watched a movie until calling it a night

Thursday was another relaxing day. I slept in which was nice since I had no obligations to get up for in the morning. Later in the day, however, I had dinner duty (this was my last kitchen duty of the year).

After dinner I was working on photos in the library when Sarah Kaye texted me and said that she was hungry so we went to Blacksmith Forge for some food before calling it a night.

Friday was an unplanned busy day and relaxing night.

To start the day Amanda and I went into the city and restaurant hopped a bit.

• We started at The Dog House for some wings which were okay nothing to exciting and we both tried butter beer for the first time and agreed that is was atrocious! Neither of us could finish them.
• After that we headed to a café called 1505 where we got a few pastries and hot chocolate.

After eating a bit we were planning to go look for a suitcase for Amanda, but ended up going to the surgeons museum which was absolutely amazing!

• If someone has a weak stomach they would not be able to make it through the museum but if someone is any bit interested in biology or anatomy then they will love it like I did

Once we were done with the museum we went to a few stores before calling it a night and heading back to the house.

When we got back we planned on resting for a while and then going out, but we both ended up falling asleep until about 10 so then we just decided to relax and watch a movie for the rest of the night.

Saturday was a fun day! I started the day with breakfast with Sarah Kaye and then a bit later I spend some time with my host family

• At noon we went on a walk around the estate for a while and then went to their flat for some tea, scones and cheese.

After that I went back to my room and hung out for a while before starting to get ready to go out for the night.

Since it was the last weekend in the house a big group of people went out into the city! I ended up bouncing between people a lot that night and we went to many different places around The Grassmarket.

• We started at Three Sisters -> Tron -> Espionage -> Three Sisters -> some pub next to Hive that had a movie theatre and was playing Star Wars that I watched for bit before heading to Espionage once again to end the night

Sunday was a relaxing day at the house I slept in until about noon since I didn’t go to bed until about 5am. Once I got up I spent most of the afternoon packing and then worked on some homework for the rest of the day.
