Blog #9 3/4: Mini Blog

Hello Readers!

So I know that I just posted on Sunday, however, I am about to leave for my spring break so I thought I would put out a short blog about what I have been doing these past couple days and when my plans for spring break are!

Monday I had a lot of classes like usual which was more okay this week considering I only had one day of classes because my other days got canceled!

After globalization Sarah Kaye and I went on a little adventure through some of the trails on the estate. We found a cool bridge and some pretty flowers. It was all going good until it started to rain, but even that was gorgeous because it was still sunny out so it looked like a fairy tale.

– One of the ten thousand reasons I love it here is because of how much natural beauty there is to explore here. I am defiantly getting my nature fix and am going to miss it so much when I go back to the states.

Tuesday was supposed to be a productive day, but I ended up sleeping which was a good thing considering I only got about an hour of sleep the night before. When I didn’t eventually get up I took my time getting ready before heading into the city to the parliament building to watch a debate about the referendum.

Once we got into the city Amanda and I went to the parliament building to pick up the tickets and then headed to Tribal Body Art to get things stabbed into up…again. When we got to the shop the piercer was on lunch so we went next door to a cute little café called Mimi’s Bakehouse. I had a luxury hot chocolate and an Aero Mint Bar which were both very delicious, but together they were way too sweet.

After we were done there we headed back over to the tattoo shop and got our piercing done.

– I got my forward helix done!

When we were done there, it was time to head over to the parliament building. Once we got there we took our seats and watch the debate.

– At first going in I didn’t think that I would like it as much as I did. I ended up really enjoying it and learning a lot from watching it.

– Scottish Referendum

What is Brexit?

When we were don’t there Amanda, Mary and I headed to Boozy Cow for a milk shake and some delicious food! After we finished up there Amanda and I headed home and finished planning/organizing our spring break!

Wednesday was a busy but relaxing day. I started the morning early with laundry and working on a paper I have due the day after spring break. I spend the rest of the day relaxing, packing and homeworking. Later on in the night I think we are going to go out with Isabelle’s family before Amanda and I have to leave the house at 3am to catch our flight!

My next blog will be some time around April 3rd, but I will have a lot of adventures to talk about hopefully!

Talk to you soon & thank you for reading! 🙂
