Hello readers!
This was a pretty mellow week which I cannot complain about at all! it started off with classes on Monday and then Tuesday we had a bit of an adventure. Sarah Kaye and
I were origionally planning on going to Morrison’s after classes, but then Sara texted me and asked if I wanted to go to Tesco so we said sure since both of us had never been there. We left for the bus stop, got on the bus and made it there just fine. The problem was when we were leaving we got on the right number bus, but it was going the wrong way! Since none of us had been there before it took us a bit to realize that we were not heading home. By the time we did notice we hopped off the bus and went across the street to catch the bus home.
By the time we finally got home it was time for dinner so we ate and then I had a shortbread and scone cooking class with the chef, Henry. The class was alot of fun and I got to keep everything we made which was even better.
Wednesday was a morning of classes, followed by four hours of spring break planning with Amanda! Even though it was a long process we finalized our plans and got everything set!
This whole weekend I really did the same thing everyday:
Friday there was a house trip, but Sarah Kaye, Tim and I decided to stay behind and explore Edinburgh. We went to the part of town where I was the week before and shopped around at some of the consignment stores until they all closed and we headed home. Since we spent a lot of the day walking we all decided to make pizza and watch movies for the rest of the night.

Saturday Sarah Kaye had a hair appointment at a salon in the same part of town we were in the day before so we went a bit early and did some shopping. At half past two we went to her hair appointment and then decided to shop some more until we were starving, so we headed home. Once we were back in Dalkeith we stopped at the grocery store for some pasta sauce, then Cavalier’s for some chicken, and finally home to make dinner!

Origionally we were planning on staying in for the night, but I had the spontaneous dedcided to go into the city. So Sarah Kaye, Amanda, Tim and I got ready and headed into the city! We ended up meeting two girls on the way and we walked with them into the club, but they decided to stay in the club and we headed to The Three Sisters. When we were there it was pretty tame at first, but then we found a karaoke room so we sang for a couple hours and people kept coming in and out which was really fun!

We ended up staying till bar close (3am). By the time we got home it was a little after 4 and after a shower it was about 5am. Even though I was exhausted it was an amazing night filled with amazing friends and memories.
Sunday was a long day! Sarah Kaye and I got up at 8 to meet with Mary, one of the profs wife’s, to start to learn guitar (me) and ukulele (Sarah Kaye). We didnt learn much but we got a nice start!

After our lesson we worked on homework until about 5 when I did a photoshoot of Amanda and Sarah Kaye.

When we were done with that we went out to food with a group or people, only we all ended up splitting up. Amanda, Connor and I ended up at the Bucleuch. I had mac & and cheese that was delicious! Once we were done with dinner we headed back to the house and worked on homework until it was time for bed!
Talk to you all soon & thanks for reading! 🙂
